I am getting a bit tired of only running into cell phones. I love to play with all kinds of tech toys but seldom does a toy outside of a phone get such notoriety. Nonetheless I managed to get my hands on a Blackberry Bold. I really don’t want to go into my long drawn out review. I will say that the keyboard which lacks spacing does kind of suck… for a Blackberry.
The phone itself was comfy, ran smooth, and of course was very business man friendly. The screen is sharp, easy to read, and bright. The updated operating system was nice as well. I am just not a Blackberry guy so these phones don’t really do it for me. From a Sidekick/G1 standpoint this phone needs a better form factor.
Next toy to get my hands on, a working Blackberry Storm.
Quick bit of information, I think I’m going to do a little write up comparing the iPhone, G1, and Sidekick 2008. Pound for pound which is the best cell phone for aging hipsters, techies, and trend setters? Look for it soon.
