Fedor breaks his silence!

The human wrecking machine has spoken and he has called out asshole UFC President Dana White. Remember White held a press conf. and said Fedor is not the number 1 fighter in the world and said he was scared to come to UFC or something. Fedor has responded.

From M1MixFight.com:

“Numerous times have I read mister White’s statements on Internet concerning myself. In my opinion, allowing yourself to say those things is not a sign of a gentleman or a grown man at all! If he candidly wants to prove himself right then let my fight with Randy happen or let me face the reigning UFC champion Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira. In the future I wouldn’t want to hear those statements in my address ever again and I won’t tolerate that.

My last fight in Japan proved that I’m ready to fight anybody with any height advantage, skill set or experience. I have fought and still wish to fight the best athletes. The Randy fight is my goal number one right now, he’s a great fighter and this is a very unfortunate situation when too strict and one-sided UFC contracts don’t let this fight happen.

The whole world is eager to see me fight your champions, people don’t want to listen to your press-conferences. I’m signed with M-1 Global and this promotion is ready to organize such fights under our banner or in co-promoted events.”

Amazing. I can only hope that these fights happen. Fedor will take the UFC belt and hang it on his fucking mantle. The best line of the entire statement is “The whole world is eager to see me fight your champions” note the use of the word “your”… amazing!

Couture will fight Fedor!

From MMAWEEKLY:

One of the biggest mixed martial arts stories of the year is that Randy “The Natural” Couture walked away from the UFC as their reigning Heavyweight champion. Dana White and Randy Couture met recently and all indications are that no agreement was reached.

Couture appeared at an “HDNet Fights” MMA card this weekend in Dallas, Texas. Couture made it very clear that he is not retired from the sport and he’s already got his sights set on his next opponent. Couture said:

“I am not retired. I am waiting for my UFC contract to expire. I will fight Fedor Emelianenko.”

Emelianenko is considered by many to be the top ranked heavyweight fighter in the world. With Randy Couture’s contractual obligations with the UFC expire in October 2008, it’s possible that we’ll see the much anticipated Couture-Fedor showdown by the end of next year.

GSP Arrives!

Ufc79In a crazy turn of events due to Matt Serra being injured Georges St. Pierre will fight Matt Hughes for the welter-weight title! This is great news for GSP fans like myself. St. Pierre lost his strap @ UFC 69 against Serra and now has a chance to step in and recover from the defeat. YFC broke the news via their website UFC.com

UFC.com is reporting that since Matt Serra’s injury will prevent him from fighting Matt Hughes on December, 29th, Hughes will instead face Georges St. Pierre in a five-round main event for the interim welter weight title.

When Serra recovers from his herniated disc, a match will be put together to unify the championship.

Make sure you tune in December 29th and don’t forget the main event Wanderlei Silva ripping that faggot Chuck Liddell’s head off. Still no Fedor. Bummer.
