Update; Trailer added!
Another movie I have been eagerly anticipating is titled The Haunting in Connecticut. Anyone who might be into the paranormal as I am will know that this is the epic and frightening tale of the Snedeker Family’s struggle with what is documented as being a demon haunting. The famous Warrens and famed paranormal researcher John Zaffis were both on hand to document this astounding case of demonic presence.
To spare the length I will just link you to a place where you can read all about this case but it is quite famous in the paranormal community. The family’s son lost his mind, things were thrown from one side of the rooms to the other, demonic presence was felt throughout the house… which I failed to mention was formerly a funeral home. Most frightening is John Zaffis’s experience where he saw the demon take shape and attack him.
I really am looking forward to this movie though, I hope they don’t make it too Hollywood and keep in mind its a true story and doesn’t need any made up or exaggerated parts. There is no drop date yet but rest assured once I find out, you will find out.

Alright well we knew that this would begin as soon as it could but here is an excellent example of some great artwork and photoshop skill. An obvious fan of the new Batman series has gone ahead and created a teaser coming soon poster for the next (unconfirmed) installment of The Dark Knight.
I guess we can assume that everyone is banking on The Riddler being the villain for the next movie. Rumors are and have been floating around that Johnny Depp is in line to play the role. I think that might work out well considering Depp can do well in those deep character roles. I for one am hoping they bring The Joker back. I do believe no one will play him as well as Heath but at the same time I feel the character deserves another run. He is and always will be Batman’s arch nemesis.
In any event I look forward to seeing more and more fan based artwork and photoshops. I think this first one which is really making its rounds on the net can and will be mistaken for and official release poster. Imagine how sick the real one will be!

Alright well we knew it was coming. Official Friday the 13th teaser images have hit the web and I will go ahead and say it… I’m intrigued! I mean sure it might seem corny because remakes often suck but I think this image generates enough hype to make me want to see the movie.
I guess word is Jason and his mother will be in the movie? I don’t know if I buy that. He will dawn a sack for a mask and a hockey mask later in the film. I just hope they don’t make this a joke. Freddy v. Jason was bad enough to watch, I don’t need a reminder of how bad Hollywood can torture and butcher a movie. IMDB has the plot summary listed as the following:
Whitney (Amanda Righetti), Jenna (Danielle Panabaker), Trent (Travis VanWinkle), and the other counselors at Camp Crystal Lake find themselves hunted down by a machete wielding maniac known as Jason Voorhees (Derek Mears). Meanwhile Whitney’s brother Clay (Jared Padalecki) shows up looking for her, after she goes missing.
Well, that seems very weak but it’s still early stages. No matter though, Camp Crystal Lake will shake one more time when Jason Voorehees comes home. Date slated for release? Next year (maybe?). Enjoy the closeup of Jason.

That’s right you heard it here and this is a Slackerstyle.com exclusive download. Rumors are piling up that Jay Reason and The Distance will be teaming up with N’Sync co-founder Chris Kirkpatrick to produce their next studio album! I sat down to speak with Jay and the short answer is YES they are! He has confirmed to Slackerstyle.com that recording will start June 25th in Orlando Florida. Big news!
Once the news broke Jay issued a statement to put all rumors to rest.
So, I heard about this and I am glad the news is out there, It’s not like I didn’t know people were going to diss us. The style isn’t for everyone and it IS very weird that he likes our band. We have all worked hard on this, and I am personally excited to yet again work with another team of very talented people. I can’t wait to get the next chapter in my life started with music and who knows where this will lead us.
We are recording, there will be a formal press release at some point, I don’t know who is releasing it (although we do have a few ideas of where we’d like to see it, and some labels are very interested).
Don’t be a hater, I think anyone if given the chance to go record for free, live in a mansion for a little while and party with some celebs would go for it. I am just going for mine.
So there it is. Rumors put to rest. I for one am extremely excited about the news hitting the public. This is the biggest news to hit CT in some time so keep your eyes here for more details as they come. At least I know I didn’t “officially” leak it, haha. And make sure to pick up a copy of THE WORLD IS NOT READY #02… I promise you will want to read THAT now that you know about THIS.

Alright so if you are like me you have thought about getting rid of your Sidekick LX. It seemed to be missing all the important features a next gen phone should have. Well minus GPS and Wifi our prayers have been answered and I couldn’t be more excited and happy! Just this morning the details of the new OTA (Over The Air Update) leaked out and they are very juicy! Updates begin to hit the devices on June 25th! Here is the list of all updates!
