Just saying hello

Yawn, I have been working on some great new designs for Bridgeport Republic and some personal designs for 322. I think I need to invest in my own screen printing setup. Small time of course but imagine all of the cool stuff I could make? Whatever though, not for now, trying to save for more important things.

Sad news today as Camu Tao; hip hop artist, Weatherman, and Cardboard City representative, who is friends with many of my friends passed away. My condolences go out to all of his friends and family. Camu was an excellent artist and will always be remembered as a Cardboard City star. I wish I had the opportunity to meet him and thank him for his great work. You can check out his legacy at his myspace. RIP Camu Tao.

That sparks a lot of emotion because we are 3 days outside the memorial of one of my best friend’s passings. On May 28 it will be 3 years since Nate Roshkind passed away. I hope he is happy where he is and doing well. It still isn’t even real that he is gone. It doesn’t feel like 3 years, and it won’t feel like 4 years either. He is always missed and never strays from my heart or mind. On the 28th Slackerstyle will pay tribute to Nate for one day so be sure to check that out. <3

Moving away from all this sadness I hope to have some new stuff for the website soon. I have a boatload of movie reviews to post up that I haven’t gotten around to doing so maybe soon? Anyway, as always keep an eye on my Twitter because I update that many times a day with the latest news both in and outside of my life. Pretty much if you are a stalker you want to keep your eyes peeled there.

BridgeportRepublic.com

Bpr

I am so happy to announce that Bridgeport Republic’s new web site has been completed. It isn’t up right now but it will be within the next 24 hours. My crew and I put a lot of work into making the look and feel of the web site just right. When the site launches it will be ready to roll and serve your clothing needs. The web store however will not be running at 100%, for now we have included a simple yet functional stand-in for the store.

Bridgeport Republic is now ready to step into the future. Captained by Chris Beattie of Hatebreed fame and Darryl Pettway of Elm Park Records you can expect only the newest and hottest street wear. Get ready!
