Digsby is a new Instant Message client that is taking the Internet by storm. What makes it so amazing? Well it’s quite next level. Not only does Digsby connect to every major message service (AIM, MSN, Yahoo, Google, Etc) but it incorporates your email (GMail, Yahoo, AOL, MSN, IMAP, and POP) flawlessly. If that wasn’t enough Digsby goes one step ahead and seemlessly integrates with MySpace, Facebook (and Facebook IM) and Twitter. That’s right it doubles as a social networking tool that alerts you of events like new messages and gives you a live Newsfeed of what your friends are up to.
Digsby feels very AIM-ish. Typical buddy list and Instant Message window. However unlike AIM it is very customizable. You can change almost everything in the program. Look and feel all with a few clicks. It is very easy to make your own and even easier to get know. While there are some parts of the prgram that annoy me a little I think this is a great step in the right direction for IM clients. Sweet little features like returning a message right from a pop up notification shows there are developers who are thinking.
Digsby is free and available now. You are required to sign up for a Digsby account but there is no harm in that. I recommend everyone give it a whirl and see how they like it. The worst that can happen is you uninstall it if you hate it.
Update: To the gentleman who emailed me… I DO use Digsby. Just because I don’t say that doesn’t mean I don’t support it or hate it! Thank you for the chuckle.

So you love music like the rest of the world right? I hope so. Anyway have you ever wanted to snatch up the newest song from your favorite bands MySpace but couldn’t because they don’t allow downloads?
So then you go and try to find a torrent or a p2p network with the song but it’s too new so they don’t have it. Usually this is where most people give up but fret not. Now you can just grab at will!
Head over to File2HD and make all of your piracy dreams come true! All you need to do is insert the MySpace url for the specific band you want, like if you wanted to download the XO Skeletons music you would enter http://www.myspace.com/xoskeletons for the url. Then select the little Audio tick mark and click “Get Files” and tada!
Now you have a list of the music available with a direct link to download it. Just right click on and “Save File As” and you should be all set. Sick right?

Stumbled across this cool little cut & fold project. You print out these instructions then cut and fold your way to your own block head stormtrooper. Sucks it’s not Vader but whatever, not that bad.
I took some time today and made this thing and it came out great, really fun. Thanks to cubecraft for coming up with cool shit like this. Go ahead and click the stormtrooper and grab up the instructions.
