A few updates I guess as there isn’t really much to post about. I mean really we are only on the Internet… not much goes on around here anymore. I made a nice cute little banner for the wonderful people over at Dinoballs. You may have heard me talk about them? I tend to e-stalk the guys over there like they are a new hip boy band and I am a 12 year old girl. If you want to check it out head over there and just stare at the top.
My Brother once again has entered the blogosphere with his new website Arrived On Scene or http://www.arrivedonscene.com for all you people who speak url. Of course I helped him with the new design, I mean what are brothers for? In any event go check it out because he’s my brother… and of course because his witty posts about day to day things will actually educate you… even spark a thought in that fried brain.
Elsewhere… well I guess you will just have to wait until I post about a new video game coming soon… oh and a fun little review of Grand Theft Auto IV. Stay tuned.

First I want to take a moment to say thank you to the crew over at Dinoballs for the kind words they had for Slackerstyle. We here at Slackerstyle love the Dinoballs comic and we hope that our readers will take the time and head over there for some of the best and most creative laughs on the Internet. You just can’t beat a ball-like dinosaur abusing another ball-like dinosaur for fun!
I know I had some words about Dinoballs a few weeks ago but I feel they warrant another post… (sure maybe it was because they plugged me but they don’t need to know that!). In any event Dinoballs in my opinion is one of todays hottest up and coming web strips. On November 8th, 2007 lovable Ping and bitter Pong were born into a world full of internet comic crap. As their strips progressed they started their climb up the comic world rankings. With many other excellent comic strips out there Ping and Pong figured out a way to grab my undivided attention. At the time I was a firm believer that no comic would ever take the place of Cyanide & Happiness over at Explosm. I was stuck on the fact that stick figures talking about abortions and killing themselves would never get old… but then something happend.
I remember reading this strip and sitting there at my desk cracking up thinking of my high school science class when I sat bored out of my mind in the back row listening to an underpaid under-educated guy talk about Mobious strips! I wanted to kill myself and August Ferdinand Möbius for coming up with that crap. While that might not be funny to many of us it was gold to me. As I began to browse the website I found more gold. Comics like this and this left me losing my mind in laughter! It quickly dawned upon me that I had found an amazing new and FRESH web comic. At the same time I began to see things in Explosm that really annoyed me. Sure it was funny sometimes… but how many times can they over do the same bit? Slowly I began to let my friends onto Ping and Pong and the responce from them was the same, web comic masterpiece!
Of course not every release is a gut buster but honestly the beauty of Dinoballs is that the creator Ben is actually smart! Sure he has great toilet humor but at the same time he combines that with a vast knowledge of pop culture and book smarts, the result is something fantastic. I hope as the days pass Dinoballs gains the Internet notoriety it deserves. Sure you have your VG Cats, and the CTRL-ALT-DEL stuff but all that shit is old! Worn out! Get with something sexy, get with something fresh! Head over to Dinoballs, laugh your ass off and tell them Jay from Slackerstyle sent you! Ok well don’t tell them I sent you, I don’t want them thinking that a 24 year old web designer like myself is even more obsessed with round cartoon dinosaurs than I already am. If they ask just say you found them while searching for pictures of Brontosaurus porn.

Dinoballs is a wonderfully new and fresh comic that is making an impact on the Internet. It features the lovable characters Ping and Pong. Ping and Pong are two little dinosaurs that are shaped like small balls hence the name dinoballs. The dinoballs live in their own little square world and get into little debates, hijinx, and hand to hand combat.
Ping is a light hearted innocent little dinoball… always questioning and always being abused by good friend (maybe) Pong. Pong is a wise ass. Often brutal and always funny. Pong can be found playing jokes on Ping and they are always extremely funny. I urge anyone looking for a good laugh to head over and become a fan of the dinoballs.
The comic itself is very brutal and not for the faint hearted. Death, shit, sex, and toilet humor are always involved with each comic and it is always amazing! If you aren’t a fan… well… you just suck. The crew behind dinoballs have a lot of talent and I am sure they will continue to rise the ranks to become one of the most known and loved comics online.
