Jay Farmington

My name is Jay. I am a 24 year old visual artist from Connecticut. I specialize in web and graphic development and have been doing a lot of t-shirt design as of late. I love to read and write, learn, party, browse the Internet, and spend money.

I spend a lot of time around new technology and always find myself buying into the current tech hype. I have over 10 years of design experience with html, css, photoshop, php, and other sweet little tools. My weapons of choice are Notepad.exe and Adobe Photoshop CS3.

Other things I enjoy doing are collecting Nike Dunks, religious artwork, books, and knowledge. I spend a lot of time in my free time giving advice. I love to have serious conversations and debates. I currently publish a “monthly” zine called The World Is Not Ready with long time friend Matt Tucci. It is a literary magazine which includes poetry, prose, and artwork from us and various guest artists. To date we have published three books.

I urge anyone wishing to cyber stalk me to follow me here @ Slackerstyle and watch my daily microblogging rants, stupidity, and antics on Twitter. I can be found @ http://www.twitter.com/jayfarmington.

Slackerstyle

Slackerstyle.com has been changing it’s face almost monthly since 1999. The domain was registered to be an E/N website but that didn’t really work. Eventually it became a technology news and celebrity gossip website. That was lame! So it became a blog filled with the latest hype and still is to some degree today. At its core it is nothing more then an outlet for me to express my views in the form of Articles.

It will change a millions times over until I finally call it quits. Until then check back and thank you for your time over the years.
