Totem Destroyer - Today’s Time Waster

Totem Destroyer is a physics based puzzle game with 25 levels. Your mission is to destroy the required number of blocks in each level without breaking the little golden statue who usually sits on top of the whole thing. You click on a block to destroy it (black blocks cannot be destroyed). As you play through the blocks will fall and tumble so the block you click has an effect on the entire level.

This game is great, very addicting. I sat online and played through all 25 levels. Give it a spin and see what’s up. There are also some cool achievements to get a 100% in the game. Some of them are easy like clicking on the button “More Games” and others are difficult like spending 10 minutes on one puzzle and then beating the puzzle.

Sweet little updates

In case you didn’t notice I went very minimal (this week) and it just so happens I have grown to love it. At first I was a little cautious but my good friend Luc Rioual reminded me that this is just a website! Hahaha! Sometimes I have a problem… I will make a layout or change things up and if they stray too far away from what I am used to I will scrap the whole thing. Hopefully not this time.

I like the super cool Twitter bubble I made. I think I am going to write a tutorial on it. I think people would be into it. It beats having all of your Tweets listed on the sidebar. At least now it has personality. Other than that I rewrote the About page. You can check that out by clicking up top.

I am still eagerly pursuing the collection of those damn Cactus Pups. I can’t seem to land the green one. It’s pretty much the only one I want and wouldn’t you know it… I want it so I can never find it. Whatever. Anyhow you know the same drain after I post… check back, I will post a time waster tomorrow. You will love it.

Cactus Pups FTW!

pups
If you know me you know I like to collect random and rare things. From Spawn figures from McFarlane toys, to Comic Books, weird art, religious art, Nike shoes. All sorts of shit. These are the Cactus Pups from Tokidoki. I need every single one of these. I currently have two. I need to find the rest. The problem is when you buy them they are boxed and completely sealed. You can’t peek into the box. It’s all random.

Ahh yes, another month long obsession for me to spend money on. Whatever, it’s worth it! Once I move out again I will have some of the collect shit to put on display in my living room.

Layout/Design

Ya know, it’s like no matter how much I play and how much I edit, and how many themes (countless themes) I design and strip… I am never content with the look. I always think something is wrong here. Literally I sit around on some nights and just mess with things pixel by pixel. If something is off I get annoyed.

And yet, it’s the same old same old. Something drastic has to happen.

Update: Upon further review… this is a blog. I need to get over that Slackerstyle isn’t an E/N website anymore. I guess I’m so used to having so many different little boxes of content that I get restless with this blog. Whatever, it’s all good.

Leaked; Friday the 13th

11

Alright well we knew it was coming. Official Friday the 13th teaser images have hit the web and I will go ahead and say it… I’m intrigued! I mean sure it might seem corny because remakes often suck but I think this image generates enough hype to make me want to see the movie.

I guess word is Jason and his mother will be in the movie? I don’t know if I buy that. He will dawn a sack for a mask and a hockey mask later in the film. I just hope they don’t make this a joke. Freddy v. Jason was bad enough to watch, I don’t need a reminder of how bad Hollywood can torture and butcher a movie. IMDB has the plot summary listed as the following:

Whitney (Amanda Righetti), Jenna (Danielle Panabaker), Trent (Travis VanWinkle), and the other counselors at Camp Crystal Lake find themselves hunted down by a machete wielding maniac known as Jason Voorhees (Derek Mears). Meanwhile Whitney’s brother Clay (Jared Padalecki) shows up looking for her, after she goes missing.

Well, that seems very weak but it’s still early stages. No matter though, Camp Crystal Lake will shake one more time when Jason Voorehees comes home. Date slated for release? Next year (maybe?). Enjoy the closeup of Jason.
